This page explains what Thermal Shop collects through thermalshop.com, why, and what we do with it.
What you send us
When you request an estimate we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email, the project address, what you need done, your timing, and any notes. A bid request adds your company, the project and its address, the trades and due date, the scope, and any link you share to plans.
When you apply for a job we collect your name, phone number, email, the position, your message, and the résumé and cover letter you upload. Those files are stored privately; only Thermal Shop staff can open them, through links that expire.
What we collect automatically
If you arrive from an ad or a link with campaign tags (such as utm_source or gclid), your browser keeps them, with the first page you visited and the site that sent you, until you close the tab. If you send a request, we save them with it so we know which ads and pages bring in work.
We may use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure how the site and our ads perform, and CallRail to show a tracking phone number and record which page or ad led to a call. These tools can set their own cookies and record how you use the site.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is sent by a person, not a program. If something on the site breaks, an error report goes to Sentry; it describes the error, not what you typed.
How we use it
To call or email you back, inspect your project, prepare an estimate or a bid, consider your application, and keep a record of the request. To see which pages and ads work, so we can improve them.
We do not sell your information.
Who sees it
Thermal Shop staff who handle your request or application. Companies that run parts of this site for us see it only to do that: hosting and storage (Cloudflare), the email that tells our office about your request, spam protection, error reports, and the analytics, advertising and call-tracking tools above.
How long we keep it
We keep requests, applications, and uploaded files for as long as we need them to respond, consider an application, carry out work, and keep necessary business records.
You can ask us to delete your information using the contact details below. We review requests and delete information we no longer need, unless we must keep it for an active project, a legal requirement, or a dispute. There is no automatic deletion after a fixed period.
